Dotty for a Bargain!

So it's what? 10 days until I finally get to see Hampton Court Palace and you wouldnt believe how excited I am! Not only do I get to see my favourite band but I also get to finally see the Palace that i've wanted to visit since I was about 8.
I'm hoping the weather will be nice, I have the day all planned out, including a picnic lunch. The only problem was, I had nothing to put the picnic in. Enter Ebay. On Thursday I ordered this gorgeous and very girlie (i think) picnic bag for just £5.00. BARGAIN!

I also picked up these for just £1.00 each in my local pound shop. I love how the yellow will clash with the red.

What more could you want for a perfect summer day? I have a feeling im going to be going on quite a few picnics with these buys.

2nd Leg of Tour - Hello Manchester and Birmingham

A few days ago i posted some pictures from the 1st part of the Westlife Gravity Tour. A week after myself and my bestie came home from London we were lucky enough to get some tickets for Manchester. Neither of us had ever been and after much worry about driving up to the city I managed it with ease. We stayed in the luxury Malmaison Hotel in the city centre and i loved every minute.

Manchester was added to tour randomly but when tickets for the tour went on sale way back in September 2010 we bought tickets for Birmingham. I love Birmingham, The LG arena or the NEC as myself and Rhi like to still call it is one of my favourite venues. We stayed in the Crown Plaza based in the LG complex and i must say it wasnt the 4* like the Mal in Manchester but it was just as nice and the breakfast was to die for!

Royal Blue

I'm a little bit more intressted in the Royals since the wedding, but it's not Kate or Wills or even Harry, Pippa or Chelsea which made me go wow recently. It was Beatrice. Now we all know that hat she wore was pretty terrible and it was the most watched event in the world this year (what was she thinking) but whilst flicking though The Mail Online today i came across these pictures.

Now i've always thought of Beatrice and her sister as "the frumpy ones" but i must say she looks stunning and seems to have shred lots of weight. How amazing do she look? and with a hunk like that on her arm no wonder she's smiling like Kate Middleton.
Im now off to trawl the websites for a royal blue dress.

Brighten my Day

On Sunday i went out for lunch with my parents. It was my 1st time out for 4 days, now although i wasnt 100% myself when my Mum suggested we "popped to town" because she needed some "odds and ends" i instantly plotted in my mind a browse in Boots and Superdrug. I had read in a magazine that Alexa Chung had been raving about Barry M nail polishes and even though i had dug out a old Barry M coral the day before i felt i desereved a treat after being stuck at home all week and so i bough these:

they were a bargain at £4.99 for them both at superdrug and I couldnt wait to get home to test them. I wasn't disapointed and i've had the peach one on now for the last five days and i must say it still looks pretty good.

They look quite good still dont they?

A Little Bit Of Sparkle

Whilst searching through Ebay for nothing in particular a few days ago i came across this Iphone case. Pink, Sparkly and it fits my phone i just had to hit the "buy it now" button. It was everything that i love. Since hitting that button though i've waited paitently at the door every morning for the postman and today it came. It's made a poorly girl happy (at least for an hour or so anyway).

The Sweetest Friends

It's official, I have the sweetest friends ever. Last week I went to the doctors to be rushed to hospital because my sugar levels were at a high level. Since then i havent been very well and have had to start having insulin. This messed up the night out with my Uni Girlies last night, whilst they were eating scrummy Frankie and Bennys and giggling over Weddings, babys and general chit chat i was at home watching Glee and eating Weetabix (i know what i'd have rathered been doing, even though Glee was pretty amazing). Although i missed out on my monthly catch up Sam one of the girls didnt forget me and got me these. How sweet.

 

I've been trying to find a good new book for a while and after reading the blurb on the back i think "Girl on the Run" is going to save me from boring daytime TV for the next 4 days. Thanks Sam X

The First Leg Of Tour

Well, since setting up this blog i havent used it once! but im going  to try and start from today. I've been holed up all week in my house due to illness and have been thinking back to the random trips i took with my bestie whilst going to watch Westlife on Tour.

 Missing these times at the moment. Still cant decide what my favourite outfit was from these few days. Maybe the red dress just because it's not something i usually wear.
